Bros just yapping. The cat is either alive or dead and we dont know which until we observe it but that doesn’t change its actual state in the box. Just whether or not the knowledge is imparted to us.

Scientists have a way of over complicating every scenario. The cat isnt both alive and dead at the same time. It’s either alive or dead, but we just dont know. That’s it. It’s that simple.

The key idea is superposition, where in quantum mechanics the system (radioactive atom) exists in 2 different states simultaneously until a moment of measurement forces the system to choose an outcome
