Italian Spaghetti and Meatballs🍝  Full recipe: For the meatballs:  500g 10% fat beef mince  1 slice stale sourdough bread without the crust  2 tbsp milk 1/2 small brown onion finely chopped  1 garlic clove minced 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley  1/4 grated parmigiano reggiano Salt to taste 1 egg Sauce: 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 1/2 brown onion finely chopped  2 garlic cloves minced 1 jar passata (630ml) 1/2 cup water  Salt  Handful fresh basil  Spaghetti to serve around 80g raw weight per person. Preheat oven to 150c (fan oven)  1) soak the sourdough in the milk for 5 minutes, then rub the bread between your finger tips to break into crumbs.  2) to another large bowl, add the beef, egg, parmigiano, garlic clove, onion, parsley, salt and bread crumbs. Using your hands combine together.  3) roll into meatballs I used an ice cream scoop to get even sizes. Place each meatball on a lined baking sheet and bake in the oven at 150c until lightly browned. Around 25mins.  4) for the sauce, in a deep pan add the oil and sauté the garlic and onion then add the tomato sauce, salt and basil leaves. 5) cover with a lid and cook on a simmer until the meatballs have finished baking. 6) remove meatballs from oven and add directly into the sauce. Add the water and cover with a lid.
