@thedirtyraven: WHITE WINE BRAISED LEEKS topped with a sauce made from mustard capers and some nice reduced stock, true proof that simply done can be done well. some people are calling the scallops of the mud (thanks for that one Julian), others are calling it a damn fine time. call it whatever you want but honestly sometimes the most humble ingredients shine the brightest. sop up that sauce with some crusty bread, share it with a lover or friend (or don’t! honestly I won’t tell), but it’s absolutely crucial you lick the plate on this one.
