@tasty: These homemade Sleepy Girl Gummies by @manabites are a natural, melatonin-free sleep aid made with tart cherry juice, magnesium, and coconut water. They're easy to store and convenient to take, and they help promote relaxation for a restful night’s sleep. INGREDIENTS ½ cup coconut water 4 teaspoons magnesium powder 2 cups tart cherry juice ⅓ cup grassfed gelatin PREPARATION 1. In a medium glass or ceramic bowl, combine the coconut water and magnesium powder. Stir until fully dissolved. Add the cherry juice, and mix well. 2. Sprinkle the gelatin evenly over the liquid. Let it bloom for 2–3 minutes, until the mixture thickens. 3. Transfer the mixture to a small nonstick saucepan. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 2–3 minutes, until the gelatin is fully dissolved. Do not boil. 4. Remove from heat, and let the mixture cool for 5 minutes. (The foam on top will dissipate on its own.) 5. Pour the liquid into a silicone mold (11.7 x 7.6 x 0.6 inches) or a small glass container. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or up to overnight, until firm. 6. Remove the gummies from the molds, or slice into bite-sized pieces if using a container. 7. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks. 8. To use: Take 1–2 gummies 30 minutes before bed for relaxation and improved sleep. 9. Enjoy!
