@thepsycholotea: Replying to @Turnez How much space is too much space? It’s too much when it stops being about regulation and starts becoming disrespect. (I.e ghosting, disappearing without word, cheating, acting single). 🚨The reality? Communication for avoidants isn’t second nature. It’s their weakness and triggers their stress response making them shut down more. If they’re unwilling to recognise this, it’s impact and work on it- that’s a red flag. Being with ANY insecurely attached partner (avoidant OR anxious) means the more secure one usually carries the heavier emotional load. It’s not ideal, and it’s not for everyone. The power isn’t in fixing them… it’s in recognising patterns, knowing your limits, and deciding what you can and can’t accept. 💥 💬 Let’s discuss—what are your thoughts on this? #r#relationshipadviceb#breakuprecoverye#exn#nocontacta#avoidantl#lettinggop#psychologisth#HealingJourneymovingon
Thanks for replying I appreciate it and it helps. I think my experience with avoidents is they were the selfish type who discarded me, found a rebound, then downplayed the relationship we had.
