I see why they didn't do that. I don't like Abby. But the stuff she ended up doing made her in a way understand Joel's point of view too. Thats why I liked the game. Perspective and sacrifice

Daily reminder the ND wanted TLOU part 1 to be about Tess hunting Joel and Ellie in an act of revenge against Joel. ND was told that wouldn’t be a good game. He basically just did that for TLOU2.
