@theheavenslawfirm: Our client was working in his company vehicle and sitting at a red light when a vehicle hit him from behind. The company vehicle was equipped with a dash camera and a camera facing the vehicle operator. This video captures the severity of the impact, which actually collapsed the driver's seat. Fortunately, our client made a full recovery from his injuries. We determined that the other driver was using a cell phone at the time of the crash. We settled the case for six figures, including the underinsured policy for the policy covering the company vehicle. Update! In response to some of the comments, note that I did tell the defense lawyer to throw in a Wawa hoagie when we wrapped things up. Also wanted to mention that we maxed out client's workers compensation benefits and got the insurance carrier to waive all liens as a condition of settlement. This client was such a hard working and reliable guy that the company couldn't wait to get him back, despite our litigation where I had to take depositions of a couple of company representatives. Client is still working for the company to this day.
