I’m autistic and have major sensory issues. My leg hair is corse, my arm hair is soft and hardly there. Not shaving is the new societal norm and you guys are wanting us to follow it. Hypocritical

It really depends on peoples genetics. Some girls have leg hair so corse it hurts sitting next to them in the back seat. Other girls you can’t even see their leg hair unless you look closely.

I shave bottom half of legs and armpits, but only in summer. If I don’t shave my legs, it’s not the end of the world, but I don’t like the feeling of leg hair getting caught in leggings 🥴

Arm hair isn’t as coarse as armpit hair, so they don’t feel the same texture wise. Coarse hair is generally more uncomfortable EVEN AFTER you have deconstructed beauty standards

The people claiming they do it for this reason and that reason really need to look inside and think about they WHY because if you weren't conditioned to feel that way it wouldn't even be a thought in your head at all-like it wasn't for women up until literally the 1920s-ish, razor companies drilled this into women's heads with ads. Before then, if there was absolutely no societal pressure and expectation...would you have even known or thought about it?

I have trich (ocd) so I wax any noticeable hair otherwise I'll get a pair of tweezers and rip at it for hours which inevitably give me ingrowns among other things.

I shave my entire body. It’s totally a sensory thing for me. My arm and leg hair is blonde you can barely see it. Even during the winter, I shave my legs daily.. I can’t stand the feeling of hair

I remove my leg hair because of sensory issues. I let it grow out fully for a few month for medical needs, I hated it. I didn't like always feeling it/how it looked. I love jeans but couldn't wear /1

See idk I see both sides yes there are some cultural things BUT I have autism and adhd and armpits I have to shave otherwise they drive me crazy, where as I won’t shave my 🐱 because it gets (1/?)
