She’s settled into her routine, carrying her favorite stuffed toy everywhere (it’s adorable), getting excited for mealtime, and loving her field trips.But here’s the thing: too many times Azra had been overlooked. And we didn't want this to continue for her. We started strategizing on how to market her more, putting her on an emergency plea list. And then, it happened!Call it chance, luck, or a miracle, after 273 days Azra met her people during our walk-in hours! We were in tears and lined the hallways to send her off, giving head kisses and well wishes to our long-stay sweetheart!We are happy to hear that she's doing well in her home, settingly in just like we thought she might. We say adopting a shelter dog saves two lives, not just one. But who are we kidding, this adoption saved us all that day!Gateway’s walk-in adoption hours are Tue-Fri, 2-6 pm and Sat 9 am - noon. #adopted #gpgazra
