@svhomegrown: Our hens had never been around a male since they hatched and welcomed this rooster almost immediately. We never planned on introducing a rooster to our flock, but with the nation’s largest hatchery announcing zero chick availability for the year, we decided to shrink the supply chain to be more sustainable and self reliant to have the option to hatch our chicks in the future. #chickensofinstagram #chickencoop #backyardchickens #isabrowns #chickengarden #rooster
