Make sure you have a fishing license and whatever fish you catch is large enough to keep. If you are caught by fish and wildlife rangers the fines are HUGE

I notice you’re doing over the shoulder throws. So typically when I pond fish, I actually swing it more to the side. Less overhead, more like a bat. Adding a weight to your lure might help as well.
