Frequent flyer here, in 12 years of flying for work SW has almost never been the best option when shopping for a flight.

Keep in mind $179 with Delta is the total for the round trip. Southwest charges for both ways so it’s really more at Southwest. I haven’t taken them in years because of that

This is why I stopped flying with them years ago. The lack of nonstop flights and long travel days plus lack of amenities on the plane and price of one way. No thank you
