A week exploring the French Riviera ✨💙🇫🇷 Probably not enough to discover all the coast, but you’ll be able to see so many breathtaking places 😍 My recommendation would be to stay in Nice, as you’ll be centrally located. I prefer to rely only on public transport when travelling, and Nice was the perfect place for that. For my first trip to the coast, I decided to focus mostly on the eastern side of the coast. There’s plenty to see and do! Here’s the places I’d recommend: 1) Villafranche-sur-mer: a small town located super close to Nice and easily reachable by train or bus. 2) Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat: a stunning peninsula not far from Nice. Here make sure to visit Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild and go to Plage Paloma, one of the prettiest beaches on the coast 💙 3) Èze: it’s a small village located on top of a hill. To reach it is quite the challenge if you’re using public transport. There’s a bus from Nice, but it’s usually packed. The village is worth to visit though! The views are incredible and the town is very pretty. Make sure to visit the botanical garden 💚 4) Cap d’Ail: head to Plage Mala to enjoy one of the prettiest beaches on the coast. I’d recommend to go in the morning, so you’ll avoid some of the crowds. 5) Menton: it’s the closest town to Italy and it’s famous for its lemons 🍋 here you’ll find two large beaches and a lovely historic centre. 6) 🇲🇨 While not in France, Monaco is a beautiful city to explore. From the old town to the casino area, there’s plenty to see and do here. 7) Nice: the city is so beautiful and there are a lot of things to visit during the day and amazing bars during the evening. (I’ll make a specific list for Nice alone soon) There’s a lot more to uncover on the French Riviera on the western side of Nice: Cannes, St Paul de Vince, Antibes and much more. I’ll explore these on a future trip, I didn’t want to rush to the places mentioned, as I like to take my time and enjoy the beauty around me ❤️ Will you visit the French Riviera in summer 2025? 🇫🇷 #cotedazur #cotedazur #frenchriviera #southfrance #france
