I decided I wanted chickens for the same reasons they did but instead of rushing out to impulse buy them, I've sat here for almost a month doing research and I've learned that I currently don't have the means to get chickens, but it's now a future goal, because I've come to adore them. I want to do it right, so I'll wait. Just felt like sharing lol

Wait til they figure out that $500 coop they bought is absolutely not big enough for really 2 hens and will deteriorate in the elements pretty quickly. Oh and chicken wire is def not preditor proof

3 years ago we got chickens with no research and at least still did everything right😅 this year we are looking to expand and now I'm waiting for everyone to be giving them away for free🤣

It makes me so angry. We’ve been chicken owners for a year and duck owners for about 4 years. They’re living creatures who need socializing and love. They’re just like any other pet.
