that's the only way my big boy meows. he doesn't hiss very much either. he has to be really mad or overly happy to even make a sound. he purrs but that's about it.

My Siamese only silently meows. She chatters when she sees a bug or bird outside. The only other vocal noise she makes is when she’s playing. She might growl a little or huff. I call it revving up 😂

my boy Chaos does what I like to call "quiet crispys", because he's a crunchy lil guy but he forgets to actually make noise, so he just sort of... clears his throat at you lol

My cat had his neck dug into a bit by ants when he was a kitten, I thought that was why he’s mostly silent. It’s a little comforting to know it might not be for such a horrible reason
