military spouse unemployment is ~20% and underemployment is ~90%. turns out having the government ship your family state to state makes it hard to build your career 🙃😵💫

170million Americans work. 50% are living paycheck to paycheck (85million). There are currently only about 7 million open jobs in the US most paying similarly. Capitalism is unsustainable

In a lot of underdeveloped or rural areas you're lucky if there's any available jobs at all. And the employers know that, and take advantage of it.

or the jobs you can apply for are only equally bad or worse. Amazon has such high turnover because of how poor they treat their worker and to keep labor costs low and they're always hiring because of it. same with Starbucks.

many families having to have a parent work in daycare so their child can go to daycare for free/discounted is embarrassing for the worlds richest country. multi-income families are being stretched thin
