I have ADHD and autism and I never had to work hard for good grades until I went to college. That was a complete slap in the face, I never learned how to actually study for something.

I got diagnosed by '95 (omw into kinder) rather I hadn't been diagnosed cause damn, teachers were not nice to adhd kids in the '90s.

I actually got terrible grades growing up until college… diagnosed with combined type adhd in the midst of my PhD dissertation many years later lol!

No. I was expected to leave school with 8 O levels. Left with 3. No one saw me struggling. They just saw a lazy child who wouldn’t work hard enough. I’m now 60 and only just found out I have ADHD.
