Yeah that doesn’t work when you have a reactive dog who doesn’t care for treats outside. My German shepherd listens when she’s home not outside. It’s difficult

my dog is so distracted by every little thing outside that the treats aren’t working but holding the leash wrapped around my fist keeps him from dragging me down the street 😩

if i don’t do that and another person is walking there dog i will end up on the ground from him pulling me over there, he just wants to play but he is a 100 pound cane corso german shepard mix.

my dog snatches me around from dog to dog. I live in a trailer park and we have a bunch of dogs. and she like rolls over and tucks her tail and lets them get on top of her? and she bites the leash?

Treats are a great training tool however on my beagle they are useless. He will repeat that “bad” behavior because he knows his redirection turns to treats
