No one talks about the toddler stages where you rather stay home cause you know. Your kid is gonna act up 🤦♀️

You did the right thing not letting him throw it again! There’s like no better way to handle that other then like “that’s it we’re done” and not throwing it again

My boy was like this and from my experience I can say that he did better when I wasn’t too nice. Nice but firm. It’s confusing when we are too nice. They learn boundaries better when we are consistent

That’s not the way I would’ve handled that but at the same time that’s why my son doesn’t do that

At this age kids are just starting to develop impulse control. This behavior is normal for children under 5. Hope this helps the judgmental, perfect parents in the comment section 🤣

toddler stage has to be the hardest 😭 like I know people say the teenage stage is but I’m convinced nothing beats the toddler stage

Toddler throwing is a normal part of development! It helps them explore cause & effect, testing boundaries, develop gross motor skills,hand-eye coordination, & impulse control.

People in the comments say this is not normal is crazy cuz anyone who has taken a child dev class knows that toddlers brains are ligit just trying to push boundaries because that’s how they learn 🙄

It makes me feel better than I'm not the only one with a wild toddler. I've banned him from Disney trips because I just cannot handle it. 😔

My daughter is in her monster stage too and it can be overwhelming! They’re just learning the world around them and how to regulate their emotions. Children act like children 😊
