Low supply is rare when they are frequently emptied like nature intended. The problem is around 4 months they start to feed less at night if not cosleeping. That is when many women experience a dip.

I was constantly pushed to supplement or give up BF because I wasn’t producing. Everyone told me it wasn’t worth it. After a month of cosleeping and working for it milk came in robust.

another thing ppl might hate America wants you to disconnect from your baby starting with demonizing co sleeping which will immediately effect your milk supply too bc baby isn't oxytocin bathing

False. Mother of 3. There’s not one thing you could suggest that I haven’t tried to make more milk. Go ahead, try me. I have a micro supply. Diagnosed.

ppl get upset baby nurses every 2hrs &think they're not getting what they need despite wet diapers, wet mouth, sleeping peacefully, ect. We don't know what a normal baby acts like!

yep it is INCREDIBLY rare and it's because of not enough education about nursing. the amount babies need, the time it takes milk to come in etc. they jump to supplementing and mess up supply

Fed is best. Some times breast feeding just doesn’t work out, and that’s ok. We’re all on our own paths.

this is a wildly ignorant take, but okay.

I guess I have the rarity because I tried breastfeeding. I can't produce more than a few drops on each side. my mother couldn't either. I saw specialists for the first 4 weeks and still nope

There are women who literally cannot breast feed. Breast isn’t always best. My nephew constantly threw up on breast milk no matter what you did. It quit when he was switched to formula. Stop shaming

Breastfeeding him is easy when he’s around. No issues whatsoever. It’s just hard when you go to work because pumps aren’t as efficient as baby 😭

QueenchocolateRu4444 :
This the pump is unnatural that’s why I had more success just breastfeeding
