![🕸️What’s with the crazy spiderweb sutures? They are called Auersvald hemostatic net sutures. They are a safe and elegant way to control bleeding in blood collection in high risk patients. Which patients pose higher risk? Women who bleed excessively during surgery, and all male facelift patients. These types of patients used to cause me incredible stress. Thankfully, not anymore. This Auersvald netting technique allows me to safely complete the surgery and not worry about a postoperative bleeding complication. I remove them between two and five days after surgery, and no, they do not leave marks.
