I took care of my mommy and she was a diabetic too, and what helped her heal faster was good protein foods. ask his doctor if can be in a high protein diet.

Hopefully they are applying xerofoam to the wound bed will heal faster. If he hasn’t had a vascular ultrasound done yet ask for one it sometimes it’s a vascular issue

you should have the doctors do a PAD test on him to make sure his blood is flowing correctly. my dad just got his toe amputated because he got gangrene from a small cut

Have you checked out “juven”? It m not too sure of the sugar content but it promotes healing. I drank that after my surgery

Try some corona cream! It’s red and yellow packaging. It’s lanolin based and very effective! It’s for horses so drs can’t tell you to use it but it works! 💚💚
