i just did my water pump, timing belt, fuel pump, all relays, and plugs only to have a p1600. pulled the ecu yesterday and the capacitors leaked so cleaned it up and now the car will run

Bro you have to pull the whole block out…..only reason I hate Lexus ls400’s Weeeeellll….also the oil leaks into the altnernator on like every Lexus that another big issue. But yea have fun putting a new starter in 😭💗

that lowkey ez mine is mounted with bolts through the transmission bellhousing and I gotta take off the exhaust manifold to get to it and getting the exhaust off is already a painful process

Brother that ain’t even that bad, my damn starter in my 4.7 v8 in my landcruiser is right underneath the intake manifold takes about 2 hours to replace it 😭😭😭

Mines thr same way I thought it was just the North Star and some other American engines didn’t know Japanese cars did this too mines kinda worse cause it’s a fwd so you gotta take off the pvc vacuum

When I got my ls400 I paid a shop to do my starter , 2 months later I got a vacuum leak from intake gasket cuz the shop put a cheap gasket so I had to re do the job again myself 😭😭

it's all good all around. you don't have to get under the car and you get to change intake mani gaskets as pm and you can do spark plugs if ya want

Don’t worry this guy at my work took his while top end apart to replace his oil pressure sensor and dude fojnd out he just didn’t have any oil in the truck 💀
