The annoying thing is she had her own plot in the original script where she was getting suspicious of Palpatine and basically forms the beginning of the rebel alliance before the empire even exist.🌳

Padme is my favorite character in the franchise, but… her relationship with Anakin is the element of her characterization/story role that I hate the most. She deserved so much better writing.
