Heat oil in a large dutch oven or saucepan over medium heat. 2. Add onion, stir and sauté for 1 minute. 3. Add fideo (Vermicelli noodles) and move it around frequently for 3 -5 minutes until it becomes a light brown color. 4. Add tomato sauce and stir to combine. 5. Pour the water and add the tomato chicken bouillon, pepper, garlic salt and stir to combine. Taste the soup and add salt as needed. Bring to a simmer. 6.
