it is beyond ridiculous that ships have to spend tens of thousands of dollars on ineffective anti-piracy equipment when a $1,000 rifle with a $500 scope is the real (permanent) solution.

why would pirates go for a cruise ship it's like a moving city and most people wouldn't have any cash... cargo ship with small crew makes sense but a cruise ship?!
