@botakspirit: Founded in the 1920s, Wat Ananda Metyarama Thai Buddhist Temple is one of the oldest Thai Theravada Buddhist temples in Singapore. Originally located at 83 Silat Road, it underwent renovations in 1953 under the guidance of then-abbot Venerable Phra Rajayankavee. Additional renovations and new constructions took place between 1975 and 1997 under the current abbot, Venerable Chao Khun Phra Tepsiddhivides. In the 21st century, the temple underwent a significant construction project, culminating in a brand-new building at 50B Jalan Bukit Merah, which was completed in 2014. #singaporeplacestogo #visitsingapore #exploresg🇸🇬 #thaitempleinsg #thaitemple #thaibuddisttemple
