Certified pasture raised means 108 square feet per bird. Otherwise “free range”=2 sq ft and cage free 1 sq ft. More expensive but if you can afford—cert pastured raised

I thought that pasture raised meant they roamed freely firaging on bugs and worms versus being fed grain that may have gmo or whatever else that is not beneficial?

certified humane means absolutely nothing as most chickens have continuous access to food water and room to room.... is not clearly defined

as some1 whom did avian influenza & regulatory testing for 15+ yrs. I would NEVER buy eggs from a store. only from a neighbor.
majority of labels mean nothing & aren't verified to mean anything. ---

Please clarify. If the carton says pasture raised and have Certified Humane then it means the chicken did indeed have access to the outdoors, correct?

Actually very wrong all that matters is pasture raised , that’s actually a standard for how much space chickens get , everything else is pointless

“Certified humane/room to roam” = 1.5sqft/bird…. “pasture raised”= 108 sqft of outdoor access/bird.

So what kind of chickens lay the better eggs? Is it the same as the ones who lay the “B” eggs? Y’all are reaching.
