I can’t get my 4 week old to nap!! He just doesn’t want to, I have tried all wake windows and all sleepy cues (he doesn’t really have any) over night he’s great those newborn 2/3 hourly feeds but day time is a battle!!!!!! And I feel bad that sometimes he’s awake for 2 wake windows 😴

My baby has needed to feed for 45-55 minutes a few feeds a day. That’s starting to get a little shorter at 4 weeks, but not much. I learned recently that he has a tongue tie - I didn’t realize until the lactation consultant told me that it’s not normal for a baby’s tongue to sit flat on the bottom of their mouth. We’re doing exercises with him now - he thinks it’s a fun game, and his tongue has gotten more active since then. I’m curious about your perspective on tongue ties and tongue tie releases. I really want to avoid that intervention but there’s so much conflicting information about what’s the right thing to do.

what if a healthy baby 8 week old is feeding 3/4 hrly but only gaining 80-100g a week? supply is great etc. can some babies just gain slower but you're doing everything right ?

What do you mean 37 weeks versus 41 weeks? So is a baby who was born 41 weeks will develops faster milestones potentially?

My 4 week old falls asleep so fast every time he feeds 😭 2-5 mins. when I give him a bottle he eats much longer. Should I just be pumping and bottle feeding? I really want to breastfeed too.
