The flying lure was trash. It was all about the banjo minnow. The banjo minnow definitely caught more fish.

I (my mom) bought some of these from an infomercial like 30 years ago. I wasn’t a good enough angler in elementary school to use them well.

I remember when these came out around 1992. It was one of the few infomercials I actually watched. Say what you want about the Flying Lure, but they actually catch a lot of fish!

You kids need to open your mind. Biggest trophy bass I've caught have been on little 3 inch lures. Gut a big bass and check the stomach. All small minnows, not huge baits. Charlie Brewer knew this.

I'm 99.99% sure it's your hook and not the lure that's losing the fish! the lure just attracts fish the hook is actually what keeps the fish on 😭

I did very well on them myself, it does drift away from you when it drops. They did come in much larger sizes and all different colors.

I bought that lure set in 95-96 when I was in high school and I NEVER caught a fish with them🤦🏿♂️I got like a 200 piece set

Shockingly this lure was great! If a bass was eyeing it and you pulled it up you get a reaction strike as it glided back towards the fish. I wish they still made them. It was good for laughs.
