My half Pakistani friend who is wyte passing worked in a pub like this. Left her traumatised the things she heard everyday. They didn't realise she mixed so said whatever they wanted in front of her.

As a POC I was told to stay away from white working class ppl because they are basic and racist. Stick to middle class ppl and go to restaurants not pubs.

Left Essex 48 years ago,I couldn't bear it and I'm white, got sick of challenging people re racism sexism, homo/transphobia etc, as a mixed couple of 35 years we still see it when we visit family.
