Another good one is DO NOT do anything that’s outside your job title ! So when the nurse asking you too check sugars , or change colostomy bags etc say you’re not qualified or not in your job

I know everyone is saying this but AGAIN: do NOT trust coworkers. Be friendly sure, but don’t be a part of those group chats, don’t cover for anyone else, etc. They are not to trust and WILL do u dirt

stay in those small facilities!!! and take your time! there's no need to rush, it's not a rush. having them ACTUALLY clean & looking decent is more important

never ever & I mean never touch anything in a residents room without gloves, never check or change with out gloves, wash your hands all the way to your elbows at the end of every round , wipe down the chair you’re going to sit on and cover with a linen if you can & you don’t listen to anything else please, please double wash your hands when you use the restroom. wash before you use and after. because there’s all type of germs and diseases running through facilities.
