I’m south sudanese but I only speak arabic and not our tribal language and that’s because my parents never spoke anything else at home other than arabic. However it sometimes confuses other black people because in their head how can a darkskin christian girls first language be arabic and I always have to remind them that it’s actually a colonial language😭
