That is a rehydrated white fungus (mushroom), jujube (Chinese date), & goji berry, it will be a health drink. The fungus gives it a slimy texture.

Don’t let this put you off healthy Asian dessert soups tho! Jujubes and Goji berries are delicious in sweet soup. There’s also other types of fungus that they can add that is crispy, not slimey
