Will it heal over time? Or am I stuck with this pain? My pain is in my pinky toes on each foot. Feel like my metatarsal bone have no padding whatsoever.

This is very helpful information. Mine is the fifth metatarsal. But in addition, the soles of my feet have swollen – in particular, the arch has swollen and protrude and is very painful. Do you have any suggestions?

Guess what :
I have to wear closed toe sneakers for work and on my feet. I’ve tried brooks, avias, hoka, crocs, adidas and sketchers, non help with that pain. The only thing that keeps the ball of my foot and toes from hurting are my Birks. I wear them year round when i can cuz thry dont hurt. Im so tired of trying to find shoes that doesnt cause foot pain for work.

Hi I had a trimalleolar fracture and I’m 3 weeks post op. I have been non weight bearing and I have been having burning sensation/ pain to the ball of my foot with just the pressure of my boot.

I only get this pain at around 8 miles. I walk around 60 mikes a week. so nothing needs strengthened....it's just the burn at 8 miles. is awful.....

This sounds exactly like what I'm dealing with down to the toes curling up. I'm in misery. Doc gave me meloxicam and by lunch it isn't even touching it. But the pads don't help 😢😢
