look at the bright side, yes you're closer to the dealers quote than desired. but! that quote was just for the wheel bearing. they're getting the bearing and a new knuckle

the price might have gotten closer to the original quote but if the dealer found the broken knuckle, the price would have jumped closer to 1k

$600 to replace a whole hub a knuckle assembly? I’d say they’re still coming out ahead. Stealership would charge 2-3x that if not more.

I hate when this happens. Clients come to you for a better and probably more quality repair and then this stuff happens and it just bumps coatings up. I feel like it makes me look bad.

Use Detroit axle. They are a great supplier with high quality parts. I use their parts on 100% jobs depending what I’m replacing

The Honda quote didn’t include replacement of all those extra parts which they wouldn’t notice until tear down. The bill would’ve been even higher.
