My dentist said that I have “flossing cavities” which means I have cavities that could have been prevented if I flossed. I do floss. Meanwhile my bf doesn’t even brush his teeth and got no cavities.

Get a second opinion! I went to one dentist that told me I had 8 cavities ! EIGHT. I didn’t believe them so I found a new dentist and she told me I have ONE. Always get a second opinion!!!

Dental hygienist here. Perio disease can be from genetics, systemic diseases, lack of professional cleanings, and smoking. Sometimes you do everything right at home and still get it.

lol Gingivitis also occurs commonly in women because our hormones fluctuate. It's why Gingivitis is so common during pregnancy and menopause.

Most likely you just need more vitamin c, try taking a vitamin c and calcium supplement for a month. It made my teeth and gums very healthy and strong

sometimes it's deeper then what they say,you may have acid reflux or other undiagnosed gastro issues that causes gum issues but they will never acknowledge that and will claim it's you being neglectfu
