I agree that it is political but it’s not capitalist. Celebrities are paid a lot of money but that doesn’t mean they’re not workers. Would that make everyone that works under capitalism is a capitalist? That doesn’t make sense. In that sense the “means of production” they own is their own bodies aka being a worker. Unless they own their own brands, they are not capitalists by default. Let’s focus on the people that “own” celebrities and the industries they work in, such as beauty, fitness, music etc. Those people are profiting off of her and other celebrities’ work and controlling culture while doing so

What about art though? Take film for example. It is very difficult to produce one without the funding of a big studio. Yet plenty of these films/shows have anti-capitalist or anti-imperial messaging.
