I’m around many Amish and I’ve never seen anything like that. They use propane.

That had Split level. basement that was made into a refrigerator like that, and i'm telling you, I went in there and it was freezing..

This is a great idea to stop using the refrigerator and unplug it permanently because it's so expensive to run. I unplug everything and my electric bill has been low except for the refrigerator

no they have ice boxes. they are really nice and surprisingly expensive.

we would place these in a root cellar it worked perfectly. we had neighbors that would place pot waterproof and place these in a shady place in a stream, it worked also perfectly
