It's time we demand better from our farmers, food distributors, neighbors and market sellers. ALL pesticides, fungicides, herbicides chemicals are "nerve agents"... they effect Neuro-degenerative conditions. Think of effects like slurred speech, vertigo, hands shaking (think Parkinson's effect), weakness in one side of your limbs, eventually numb and paralyzes. It disturbs your cognition and memory... you become irrational, extremely anxious and it causes your fight or flight mode to be ON ALL THE TIME because the chemicals make your nerves constantly firing (that's how it destroys insects), which overwhelms your system... feeling overwhelmed lately? Then comes organ failure... These chamicals are filtered by the kidneys and liver, making those organs the target to get damaged first. Now, imagine that in a little child's body... I've seen first hand what that looks like and it's terrifying!! These chemicals also destroy our good gut-bacteria which is our body's immunity. Once that happens, the body becomes weak and can't fight even little sickness like the flu. This is very scary that the body could no longer heal itself when it needs to. Chimamanda Adichie's late son, Nkanu is one of unfortunately so many examples of chemical poisoning. When we first arrived in Nigeria, we developed severe toxicity due to the loads of chemicals in our foods, so we knew to stop eating certain foods right away. I've seen many little children in our small town not survive. Stop putting chemicals like Sniper® and other pesticides inside human foods. Set traps for rodents instead. Use airtight containers, organic means like putting dry pepper, dongoyaro, neem leaves etc. in your dry foods...and in case you get some insects in your dry goods, get used to the smell of cockroach and weevils instead of the smell of pesticides. #organicfood #bigfamily #fyp #explorepage✨ #health
