This is normal for ear infection with tubes. The tubes are there to allow the fluid to drain. Happens with my little one every time she gets an ear infection.

Ya we learned ear tubes don’t stop the infections…it just allows them to drain. And what comes out smells and looks awful! She is now 18 and still gets infections.

The tubes drain, they reduce infections but they don't stop them. Make sure you're not getting any water in the ears and talk to your ENT if it's consistent she might also need her adenoids removed.

tubes don't stop ear infections but they allow the the infection to drain out instead of build pressure that causes pain. the discharge means tubes are doing their job to drain the infection but you still need the antibiotic drops to kill the infection

My son had tubes when he was like 2 and he would still get ear infections and I swear they were worse than before tubes

My daughter got her tonsils, adenoids and ear tubes and she is almost 2 weeks post op and I am starting to see the difference. She was always stuffy and congested and the ENT recommended for those 2

My son had tubes put in before he was 1 and he had goo with his first infection after the tubes. Oir ent said that means the tubes are working. Getting the fluid out.

It’s so tough to get the drops in. My son is 4 and we had to swaddle him in a big blanket. We called it burrito time.

What could help before you apply drops is try and keep drops bottle in your hands for a bit before you put them in her ear my son says it helps not hurt as much since they are warm

Commenting on your video again-my son was frequently sick with respiratory issues. Swallow study showed aspiration and scope found Laryngeal cleft!! Surgery scheduled for next month for the repair

Hey mama mom here of three tube kiddos the drainage is normal and a sign the tubes work we flush our tubes in a ear infection with 50/50 water peroxide and 20 drops of white vinegar

I went through 17 sets of tubes 1 a year until they finally took them out for good, however… the scar tissue and hearing issues I have now are awful

My son had the same thing, tubes as well. Ear drum ruptured and when there’s fluid like that with tubes it’s a good indicator that the drum has ruptured.
