it’s so extremely dependent on where you are. I’m 9 years in and making about 90k which gets you a lot further in WI than Cali. I would also take work-life balance into consideration.

I was a teacher turned psych - same reasons (long story). I went from making 33k to 69k. best investment. only drawback was becoming a 10m. employee

There’s a $20,000 stipend for Ed psychs here in Austin, but they’ll give it to you at the end of the first year if you aren’t late on any paperwork which they make almost impossible.

Oh wow you are my general area haha! Lowest starting near me is 69k the highest I seen within 40 minutes of me is 118k starting. Most districts are 90k+
