@gabbituft: Which frozen waffles are the best? - Kodiak frozen waffles met my expectation for most Kodiak products. It’s junk food with protein added - which does nothing for overall health OR getting you closer to your goals. - Evergreen waffles were so close to being a win BUT they used maple syrup which has a very similar glycemic index to sugar. While I loved the backstory of the company, the consistent theme that sugar is in EVERYTHING we eat leading to an average of 68g/day for the average American, was proven to be true. - Birch Benders frozen waffles had no added sugars BUT they had a seed oil. In my opinion this was the lesser of the evils here. - For frozen waffles, we basically know what we’re getting into, and it’s gonna be a cheat meal because they’re usually getting drenched in syrup and butter - sending calories and sugars through the roof. - What’s the solution?
