I work in a metal fab shop. Every tape measure I've had gets procured by someone. I bought this one because it was so unique. The tape is a bit flimsy and there's no belt clip but I wouldn't trade it.

The cheap one is awesome!!!! I have it and works great and lightweight. You don’t need sturdy unless you constantly drop the tape.
