[Body Cam Footage] #bodycam #ems #police #lawsuit #911calls |🪬🧿| In today's video, we bring to you all a truly ABSOLUTE WORST CASE SCENARIO. [THESE DEPUTIES' BODY CAMERAS DO NOT LIE. AND THEY TELL A VERY DIFFERENT STORY THAN THE ONES SPUN BY DEPUTIES ON SCENE...] When first responders from Jasper Co. Sheriff Dept. and Keener TWP. EMS arrived on 9/8/2024, they found 23y/o Rhyker Earl post-ictal from an epileptic seizure. [Seizure patients in the post-ictal phase of a seizure, are never trying to be violent or disobey orders. There brain hasn't come to full consciousness yet, so all these patients are doing is reacting to stimuli in their environment (sounds, touch, lights, etc). All first responders are TRAINED with this information.]] However you'll see In deputies' bodycam footage, Rhyker has at least 2-3 deputies holding him facedown on the floor on his stomach, with his hands, HANDCUFFED behind his back - -FOR 20 MINUTES. Rhyker however, not under arrest. In the body cam, a Jasper Co. Sheriff deputy claims Rhyker put his hand up to keep a medic from walking too close to him (saying Rhyker "put his hand on the medic"), so the deputy body slammed Rhyker to the ground, & HANDCUFFED his hands BEHIND HIS BACK for this. [(Which is a BIG red flag -- seizure patients should never be put in restraints because they can hurt themselves, especially if they begin seizing again.)] The paramedics ignore Rhyker's confusion & terrified pleas for help, and just keep stepping over his body splayed out, prone & buried under the crush of 4 huge deputies and multiple EMS crewmembers on the floor. These medics' only focus was on drawing ever higher doses of VERY strong sedatives to inject Rhyker with, over and over... Not one of those medics or deputies/first responders listen to Rhyker, screaming in abject terror, that he-- "can't breathe, something is really wrong, please won't anybody help?" Pleading for his Grandma & Grandpa to help. Begging on behalf of his children to please, do not let them not lose their father forever... HELP ME HELP ME. I AM A FATHER. I HAVE 2 YOUNG BABIES. PLEASE HELP ME!" (Until medics hit the highest dose of sedatives allowed to be dosed to a patient. Then, they went and called the ER Dr. wanting him to give clearance for them to push even MORE sedatives on Rhyker.. ) And This "agitation," was actually Rhyker crying out that he wasn't able to breathe. For 15 minutes straight he cries out-- "HELP ME HELP ME!!! PLEASE GUYS, ANYBODY!" "I CAN'T BREATHE. I CAN'T BREATHE." "PLEASE HELP ME, I AM A FATHER! PLEASE! I HAVE 2 YOUNG BABIES. PLEASE HELP ME." "GRANDMA HELP ME! PLEASE SAVE ME." If only it had been different first responders, different EMS personnel.. maybe Rhyker's story would have a much better ending than the nightmare that unfolded next... If only we had a different outcome to this story. Because not one first responder on scene that night, listened to what Rhyker was screaming about in terror. Instead, they did everything in their power to quiet him down...completely... until the silence, suddenly became DEFENING.,, Watch the body camera footage tell the REAL STORY, as our resident LPN and Paramedic, Cy, reacts to this footage with his own unique perspective and insight (based on him working over 15 yrs as a medic/first responder, & now also as a licensed practical nurse).
