POV: It's not Himalayan it's originally came from salt mine in Pakistan called Kheora Salt Mine which is the original source of most of the pink salt which India is labeling as Himalayan salt.

Generally I've seen it be used with really thin strips of meat. I've also seen them shatter before, so you're right to be cautious.

This is Pakistani Himalaya salt, they dont wanna call pakistani salt becouse its a muslim country. There is no salt mine in China, India or other neighbour country in himalaya.
