That’s not normal. The popping sound is your TMJ disk becoming displaced you need an MRI of your TMJ to see the damage.

Oh and then shooting pain in ear once in a while that stops you dead in your tracks…. Apply a bit of pressure and realign jaw and it’s good? Anyone else?
