Abuse starts at any age. Talking at age appropriate levels about bodily autonomy is so important and is proven to help give children the wording and knowledge to speak up about abuse

We live in a reality where different orientations exist. Teaching it’s normal to love whoever from a young age puts a stop to potential hate and bullying in the future. It’s that simple

as an ece when a kid comes and asks you a question you have to then ask the kid why they think or what they think it is.. and then go based on that. but most of these conversations are for parents

Gender and sexuality should be taught at ALL AGES in an age appropriate manner, there is no way that any book would ever be knowingly be available at a school that teaches non age appropriate stuff (1

I think kids of any age are old enough to understand that sometimes men are in relationships with men and sometimes women are in relationships with women

If my kid is old enough to ask, they are recieving information from somewhere and they deserve an actual yet age appropriate explanation.

It’s entirely up to the child’s parent because a parent should be the only one having these conversations with THEIR child

I mean my one sister started puberty at 8, the other 9 and me 18. Puberty can not be the metric to determine the age of SE. It should be slowly introduced and age appropriate

As soon as they begin to ask questions. Because even if you "put it off" & don't talk to them about it, they WILL hear about it at some point from someone else & become curious about the subject.

8 kids start puberty at 8. Even if you can’t see it. Girls can get a period as soon as 10. Girls can be born menstruating. Boys can be born lactating. Yes teach your kids biology.

There should be a line with this topic in the sense of, yes as a parent if they ask don’t lie and make it a big deal. Just simple explain to them. When parents force terms on to them that’s an issue
