The second signature is Stephen S. Poloz who succeeded Carney as Governor of the Bank of Canada. He started mid-year in June 2013. Currency created halfway through the year and later have his signature. I’m not sure if you said those were stamped as 2012 bills… I’ll listen to your video again. Interesting that you took the time to observe differences. Our dollars are pretty intricate and beautiful to look at and consider.

The date printed on a Canadian banknote does not correspond to its year of printing. but rather to the year when the series was officially approved and issued.
