@crmnallyobsessed: In 1991, Frank Gable was found guilty of a 1989 crime of Oregon Corrections Director Michael Francke. For many years, Gable, along with Michael Francke's brothers, questioned the result of the case and fought to clear Gable's name. In 2019, a federal judge discovered that key evidence proving Gable's innocence was kept away from the jury during the initial trial. Later that year, Gable was released from prison after 29 years behind bars. After his exoneration, Gable sued the state of Oregon for his wrongful conviction and was awarded a nearly $2 million settlement on March 4, 2025. #wrongfullyconvicted #frankgable #freeman
